Born and raised in Holland, Marije and her family moved to Canada in 2012 and took up residence in the Comox Valley.  In Holland, Marije worked for Hunter Douglas Europe from 2007 until 2012 as a project manager in communications and advertising.  Prior to Hunter Douglas, Marije earned her degree in interior design and worked as a kitchen designer, so she brings with her a lot of experience in this area.  In July 2013 she joined the team at Oak Hills and works part-time as a designer-sales person.  With three young children, she hasn’t much free time, but you can find her in the dance studio twice a week where she enjoys tap and contemporary dance. Marije also loves to travel with her family.
